Our Story
Hi, I'm Zoe. I started DD’s Boutique Cattery in 2024 while working as a veterinary nurse.
Through my work, I saw how larger boarding facilities often operate, with frequent staff changes, more noise, and less individual attention for each cat. I also noticed that things like medication and basic updates were often treated as add-ons rather than part of standard care.
I wanted to create something smaller and more personal. A place where cats are looked after in a calm, home environment, and where owners know exactly who is caring for their pet.
That is still how DD’s runs today. A quiet, home-based cattery focused on low numbers, consistent care, and giving each cat the attention they need.
Meet Zoe
Good care, to me, means being reliable, fair, and genuinely attentive to both the cats and their owners. It is about doing what you say you will do, and making sure each cat is treated with patience and consistency.
My background as a veterinary nurse shapes how I run the cattery day to day. Cleanliness, steady routines, and constant visual checks are part of how I work, along with being able to recognise when something is not quite right. Before moving to Australia, I also ran a cattery in London for ten years, which gave me a clear idea of how I wanted things to be run.
What matters most is that cats settle in well and are comfortable during their stay. For owners, that means knowing their cat is being properly looked after, kept in a calm environment, and handled with care from the moment they arrive.

There are absolutely no hidden or extra costs. Weekly photo updates and the administration of medication is all part and parcel.
Secure, Separated Enclosures
Cats are only housed together if they are from the same home. They may see other cats but remain separate, with the option to play or keep to themselves.
Photo Updates at No Extra Charge
Weekly photo updates will be provided at no extra charge.
